Flathead Lake in Northwest Montana is 28 miles long, 15miles wide and bordered by beautiful mountains. It is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Great Lakes. Given its sheer size and proximity to the mountains, winds on Flathead Lake are mostly predictable and make for amazing sailing experiences.
